With sincere appreciation we thank all the
contributors that make this program possible.
Celebrating 20 Years!

Navajo Santa strives to enhance the lives of indigenous peoples. We acknowledge and support the strengths and the needs of the Navajo people in and around the Utah strip communities through the spirit of giving while fostering trust and respect between cultures.

We provide this support with three annual programs:

NAVAJO SANTA FAMILY DELIVERY
A delivery of gifts to families in need across the Utah strip. Traditionally this program has always been held the first weekend of each December.

NAVAJO SANTA GIVEAWAY
The Navajo community gathers for a give-away of food, warm clothing, tools, toys and to enjoy a traditional Navajo dinner. This general gathering is held the same weekend of our Family Delivery in early December.

NAVAJO SANTA GOES TO SCHOOL
Each year one school is identified to provide students with warm coats, back to school items, eye examinations, dental hygiene kits and dental education. This past year was our fourth annual Back to School program and was held at Bluff Elementary. Read about our most recent delivery>

We are very fortunate to have many, many dear supporters wihtout whose generous giving we could not have made these many years of Christmas giving possible—thank you!

NAVAJO SANTA 2008 GIVEAWAY AND FAMILY DELIVERY A WONDERFUL SUCCESS!
December 7, 2008

BLUFF, UT. — The Navajo Santa 2008 giveaway was held Saturday, December 6 at the Mexican Water chapter house on the Navajo Indian Reservation. As in years past Navajo Santa provided food boxes, sacks of flour, dog food, hygiene kits, shovels, warm clothing, toys and other necessities for the estimated 1,000 people lined-up in the early morning chill.

Recepients, after delivering gifts to their cars, stayed to enjoy the entertainment of traditional music, Christmas carols, roping and chainsawing contests as well as a traditional Christmas meal and a visit from Santa Claus himself.

"We are tremendously excited about this years giveaway and the assistance we can provide the people of this community, especially during this economic downturn," said Marianne Felt, Navajo Santa Board President. "it is exciting to see our giveaway become such an anticipated yearly event that draws folks from all over the four-corners region."

This year celebrates 20 years of Navajo Santa philanthropy led by Board Chair Kenneth Maryboy.
